The duo has once again come together for a noble cause this time to raise funds in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Kohli and De Villiers on Friday had a live chat on Instagram where they confirmed that they will be auctioning their signed RCB shirts and bats from the IPL 2016 season to raise funds. The signed jerseys and bats will be from RCB's stunning 144-run win over Gujarat Lions in IPL 2016 where both Kohli and De Villiers notched up a hundred apiece. That was also the green game where we did our part to raise awareness about the environment," De Villiers told Kohli. I know there are a lot of collectors around the world that wouldn't mind your bat, I will throw in mine as well," he added. The Indian captain stated that he will be sending his bat and gloves for the auction which will be used to 'put food on the plates of poor and needy.' The funds generated from the auction will be divided in India and South Africa and donated for the good cause.
