The ongoing nationwide lockdown has been extended for another 2 weeks after May 4 Movement of individuals for all non-essential activities will continue to remain strictly prohibited between 7pm and 7am in all areas These rules will be applicable across all three zones MHA has issued a new set of guidelines for the extended lockdown and has allowed some activities while most are restricted. In coronavirus red zones, movement of individuals, vehicles have been allowed only for permitted activities during the lockdown days. The MHA has said that under the new lockdown guidelines, a limited number of activities will remain prohibited in the country, irrespective of the zones. MHA has also said that activities will be regulated based on risk profiling of the districts and according to the colour zones they are in. The government has permitted OPDs and medical clinics to operate in red, orange and green zones with all social distancing norms. These include plying of cycle rickshaws, auto rickshaws, running of taxis and cab aggregators, intra-district and inter-district plying of buses, barber shops, spas and saloons continue to remain banned through the lockdown.
