Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, who has films like, ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Kaante’, ‘Kaabil’ and others to his credit, is gearing up for his next gangster drama , ‘ Mumbai Saga ’. While the entire Bollywood industry has come to a halt due to coronavirus lockdown, the director has been continuously working on the final cut of the film through virtual connect. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Sanjay Gupta opened up about working with his ensemble star cast in the film, making the most of his time in lockdown completing his film and more. Excerpts… How has life changed post the Coronavirus Pandemic? Luckily, we are at our holiday home in Khandala so there is relatively more space for the family and fun stuff for the kids to do. Well my editing, background score, sound design as well as VFX and a a lot of which had started pre lockdown is going on. The worst affected are the daily wage earners who will find it very difficult. How do you keep yourself busy since everything is in lockdown, anything that you are doing in this free time? I am doing a lot of things including writing the ‘ Shootout 3 ’, apart from spending quality time with my family. Do as you're told because your responsibility also affects the safety of your family and others around you.
