COVID-19: Bollywood star Mouni Roy stranded in Abu Dhabi

For more than a month, Bollywood actress Mouni Roy has been staying in Abu Dhabi at her best friend’s home and re-discovering the joys of life as she practices social distancing during Covid-19 pandemic. The actress was here for a brief vacation in Abu Dhabi, but decided to stay put when the travel restrictions came into place. She will soon be seen in director Ayaan Mukherji’s Brahmastra, also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. She remembers a time when she auditioned for ‘Gold’ while was filming her TV series Naagin. I had to tone down my make-up, because my character in Naagin wore heavy make-up,” said Roy in our exclusive chat.
